Hola amigos! Well, that's about all the Spanish that I remember. Sad to say that Spanish was my first language, but once I left my small village of Los Angeles, and migrated north to a land filled with gringos galore I no longer needed my native tongue. Sad but true, most of my family has lost their flare for the speech of Spanish. While I might have lost the native tongue, my tongue never lost those native flavors.

This winter we here at Tamale A-Go-Go look forward to sharing with you the exciting flavors of Mexico that we remember, minus the lard. Si! We will be bringing you handmade, lard-free tamales. Muy Sabrosa! (Very flavorful! Hey, I remember more than I thought I did.)
